On this occasion we have moved to the Leridano Pyrenees to try to photograph an emblematic species of this mountains, the bearded vulture. In this spectacular natural environment and thanks to the well-done work of our local guide, Jordi Canut, we have attended the cleaning work carried out by the Iberian scavengers from the beginning to the end. And I say this because this mountain range is the only place in our geography where, once the great vultures have stripped the corpse of a dead animal,
The bearded vulture appears to feed on the bones that nobody else wants. The hiding places are located in a supplementary feeding point for this species, which allows numerous specimens to be photographed. In addition, in the same session we have been able to photograph birds with different ages and plumages. A true show.
