Wildlife Photo Spain
The spanish imperial eagle is one of the most endangered bird of prey on the planet and an endemism of the Iberian fauna. Today we were waiting for a very special day in our hide of the Sierra de Guadarrama. Our hide is in an area of dispersion of this species, so that throughout the year the specimens that approach the area vary. This makes it possible to photograph several eagles in a single session. In addition, it is also possible to photograph specimens of different ages and plumages. On this occasion we have enjoyed the presence of three young eagles with the “pajizo” plumage, that is, about two years old.
